Stay ahead of weeds while feeding your grass at the right time. Seasonal applications target existing weeds, help prevent new growth, and provide nutrients during active growth.

Hard, compacted soil can hold your lawn back. Core aeration removes small soil plugs, giving air, water, and nutrients better access to the roots.

Explore soil-conditioning options for areas where water struggles to soak in. We help determine whether a liquid treatment suits your lawn’s needs and explain what to expect.

Help your grass get more from the nutrients in the soil. Granular lime gradually raises soil pH where excess acidity is affecting growing conditions.

Spend less time pulling weeds from your landscape beds. Four scheduled pre-emergent applications help prevent targeted annual weeds from becoming established in maintained, mulched beds.

Get help with pests that keep showing up around your home. We inspect problem areas, check the perimeter of your home for likely entry points, and recommend treatment plan.

Find out what is damaging your grass before treating it. We check for lawn insects such as grubs and armyworms, then recommend treatment based on what we find.

Make your yard more comfortable with treatments that help reduce flea and tick activity. We inspect problem areas and identify conditions that may encourage these pests to return.

Recurring ant trails and lawn activity need a closer look. We assess the ants, nesting locations, and affected areas to recommend an approach that fits the problem.

A healthy yard depends on more than what is visible at the surface. The season, grass type, weed activity, root growth, and condition of the soil all affect which service will provide the most value. Our eight-treatment lawn program supports healthier grass and year-round weed control. Core aeration addresses compacted soil, while flower bed pre-emergent helps stop targeted weeds before they begin growing.
DeSoto Turf’s lawn program includes eight treatments, typically applied every 30 to 45 days. Each visit follows the lawn’s seasonal needs, from early pre-emergent applications to fertilizer and weed control during active growth. Regular visits also make it easier to track how the grass responds and address new weed activity as the year progresses.
DeSoto Turf brings lawn services and pest prevention into one clear plan. Each service handles a different part of the property, giving your grass stronger support above and below the soil and eliminates pests that prevent you from enjoying your yard.
Once we know more about your property and issues we will provide a no obligation quote.

DeSoto Turf provides an eight-treatment weed control and fertilization program, core aeration, flower bed pre-emergent treatments and pest services. These services address seasonal weeds, lawn nutrition, compacted soil, lawn pest and weed prevention in maintained planting beds.
No. DeSoto Turf focuses on lawn treatments to improve the look of your lawn. Mowing, trimming, planting, mulch installation, and general landscape maintenance are not included.
We generally complete treatments every 30 to 45 days. The application changes during the year and may include pre-emergent weed prevention, pest treatment, post-emergent weed control, or fertilizer based on turf growth, seasonal weed activity, and weather conditions.
Compacted soil may feel hard underfoot, absorb water slowly, or support thin grass in high-traffic areas. DeSoto Turf offers core and liquid aeration. Our service pros will make a recommendation based upon the best option for your lawn.
No. Pre-emergent helps stop targeted annual weeds during germination, but it does not kill established weeds. Visible weeds should be removed before treatment. The program works best in maintained beds that receive fresh mulch at least twice a year.
Some treated weeds may begin curling or changing color within several days, while others take longer. Turf color and density improve gradually during active growth and also depend on mowing, watering, sunlight, soil condition, and the lawn’s condition before service began.
